Introducing USA Truck’s Drive Your Plan Company Self-Dispatch Program: Pick Your Loads, Plan Your Life

As a company truck driver, have you ever wanted to plan your own loads? Now, thanks to USA Truck’s Drive Your Plan self-dispatch system, you can have the freedom to do it!
With Drive Your Plan, qualified company truck drivers plan their work schedule around how they want to drive and what their home time needs are. Accessing USA Truck’s easy-to-use custom load board app, drivers can see all available loads in a specific market and go anywhere they choose and home whenever they want as freight allows.
To qualify, company drivers need to have a minimum of 12 months’ experience and no more than five jobs in three years. They must maintain a 2,000 mile per week rolling average over several weeks, with exceptions for vacation and breakdowns.
Drivers are still general freight drivers and there is a possibility of being pulled off a chosen preplan if a more critical load in the area needs to take priority. USA Truck encourages drivers to always select up to two additional pre-plans beyond their current load.
USA Truck is seeking company drivers in a 75-mile radius of the following cities:
Dallas and Houston, Texas; Oklahoma City and Tulsa, OK; West Memphis, AR; Kansas City and St. Louis, MO; Joliet, IL; Indianapolis and Fort Wayne, IN; Cincinnati and Columbus, OH; Louisville, KY; Detroit, MI; and, Pittsburgh and Carlisle, PA.
To get started, USA Truck company truck drivers will complete 2-3 weeks of training with extended orientation to learn the equipment, planning boards, and the on-board computer system.
While Drive Your Plan offers great freedom and independence to company drivers it is also an excellent opportunity for them to learn to operate like an independent contractor with the security of still being employed by the company.
