USAT’S Military Recruiting Depart. travels to Ft. Carson for P3 signing

USA Truck has been committed to veterans from our beginning – one of our original founders served as a military aviator for the United States Navy. This act of service has motivated USA Truck for over 20 years and is one of the reasons our Military Recruiting Department recently traveled to Fort Carson in Colorado Springs, CO, to complete the signing of support with the Private Public Partnership (P3).

P3 is a U.S.-based program that recognizes the invaluable skills soldiers learn while serving our country and then creates partnerships with companies and corporations to increase the employment of soldiers and veterans. P3 is also a support system for U.S. soldiers, informing them about available resources and helping match their and their families’ needs. USA Truck is proud to have been present at the signing and is excited to create a relationship with P3 and all the U.S. soldiers involved as we work to take USAT from veteran friendly to veteran ready.

The signing also featured a job fair for U.S. soldiers who are approaching the end of their service. USAT’s Military Recruiting Team was honored to attend the job fair and connect with military service members. We see how supporting service members as they exit active service and find other employment helps them with a smooth transition into civilian life. Our veteran leadership team are all military veterans and have experienced this transitional period. Their goal is to seek out and provide the most helpful methods for supporting other veterans as they go through this change.

Our Military Recruiting Department was met with overwhelming positive feedback from U.S. military service members who were in attendance at the job fair and were looking for employment opportunities in the transportation industry.
